C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces the expansion of its distributorship with Champion Aerospace, a global provider in turbine engine ignition technology. Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the new agreement extends C&L’s distributorship to include ignition products for regional aircraft engines and APUs, further solidifying its position as a premier supplier of high-quality aviation components.

C&L Aerospace announces that three of its employees have been promoted to new positions in line with its continued parts growth. As a result of these promotions, C&L has positioned itself for continued expansion of its product line offerings, customer base, and market penetration through its worldwide parts-support network.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that Jennifer Kempsey has transferred from C&L Aviation Services to serve as a regional sales manager for C&L Aerospace. Due to C&L’s recent expansion into supporting Cessna Citation aircraft, Kempsey will be focusing on Sovereign and XLS platforms, as well as Challenger 604, Hawker Series and BeechJet aircraft for the Northeast and Midwest areas of the United States.

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, expands its component repair facility with a new landing-gear rating and wheel and brake capabilities. With this new rating, C&L provides landing-gear overhauls for ERJ 140/145 and Citation series and will soon include E190 and Boeing 737. The new wheels and brakes capabilities allow C&L to offer repair and overhaul services for regional and corporate aircraft.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that Robert (Bob) Pierson has joined the Corporate Parts Sales team as a regional sales manager. Pierson will provide business-jet support for the southeastern United States and will focus on Challenger 604, Hawker Series, BeechJet, and Cessna Citation Sovereign and XLS aircraft.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that it has signed an agreement, conducted through Ernst & Young, to sell 737NG inventory owned by REX Airlines in Australia. The unfortunate circumstance of REX going into administration has resulted in its 737 fleet no longer flying and becoming available for sale. The inventory, containing a CFM56-7 engine, auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other fast-moving parts, was purchased by REX to support its now grounded fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens a new warehouse in Johannesburg, South Africa, which will be fully operational in July. The location is strategically located between the two major airports in Johannesburg and is a convenient shipping hub for customers in the African region. The new warehouse will support C&L’s established sales team in Africa and will initially house inventories for ERJ 135/145, and ATR 42/72, which will expand into other aircraft types as demand dictates. 

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, purchases an E190 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital. This complete aircraft is currently being disassembled in Portugal, and parts from this aircraft will join C&L’s growing E170/190 inventory at the company’s main headquarters in Bangor, ME.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, signs an agreement with AVIAN Inventory Management (AVIAN) to assist in marketing and selling inventory consisting of 85,000 individual part numbers and over 18 million total parts, spanning several aircraft types, including ERJ 145, E170, E190, E-Jet, E120, Legacy, Phenom and Predator.

C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, opens a 20,000-square-foot parts warehouse in Leipzig, Germany. The location was carefully researched and chosen in order to provide the most convenient shipping hub for Europe and beyond. The company warehouse will store aircraft parts inventories for ATR 42/72, ERJ 145, E170/190, Saab 340 and more.
