Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces it is the business-jet industry’s first original equipment manufacturer (OEM) to fly on 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The flight took place on a Gulfstream G650 from Gulfstream’s worldwide headquarters in Savannah and was flown in partnership with engine supplier Rolls-Royce on the G650 BR725 engine.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces that the all-new Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines for the industry flagship Gulfstream G700 and ultralong-range Gulfstream G800 have achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. enhances its field service representative (FSR) team in South America with the appointment of Roberto César Oliveira as the dedicated Gulfstream Customer Support FSR for Brazil. Oliveira has more than 20 years of aviation experience and extensive knowledge of Gulfstream aircraft, avionics and maintenance planning. He holds a number of Federal Aviation Administration and National Civil Aviation Agency licenses and is based in São Paulo.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces its participation in the 2022 Farnborough International Airshow’s Pioneers of Tomorrow exhibit on Fri., July 22, an event connecting business-aviation leaders with local students. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about careers in business aviation and participate in hands-on educational activities hosted by Gulfstream employees from the Farnborough and Savannah locations.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. names Mark Bates general manager of Gulfstream’s Farnborough facility in England. In his new role, Bates will lead service center operations and continue to build on Gulfstream’s success in the region since the facility opened in 2020. Bates reports to Joe Rivera, vice president of service center operations.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces the delivery of the first Gulfstream G600 to be outfitted at its Dallas, TX, facility. In response to growing demand, Gulfstream expanded completions operations to the Dallas facility in June 2021 to enhance interior-outfitting capabilities for customers.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. recognizes the many accomplishments achieved by Gulfstream Customer Support in 2021, including facility and service expansions, increased investment in customers and continued success in sustainability.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces that Michael Swift has been named regional senior vice president of Sales for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Indian subcontinent (EMEA-ISC), and Chad Beaulieu has been named regional vice president of Sales for Gulfstream’s South Central United States territory.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. appoints Grupo Aeronáutico as the authorized international sales representative for Gulfstream business-aircraft sales in Ecuador and Peru. Under the agreement, Grupo Aeronáutico will be responsible for promoting and supporting Gulfstream with customers and prospects throughout the two countries.
