Spirit Aeronautics Completes Year-Long Honeywell FMS 6.1 Upgrade Project
Spirit Aeronautics completes a 13-month project for one of the world’s largest private-aviation companies, upgrading 11 Citation 750 X aircraft to Honeywell's flight management system, FMS 6.1. The project began in May 2022 and was completed last month. In addition, Spirit also completed over 20 additional individual aircraft upgrades using this unique solution.

Spirit Aeronautics partners with the FBI on the design and installation of Leica’s Citymapper-2 sensor package into the Bureau’s Cessna Caravan 206. The Citymapper-2 system offers the world’s only hybrid oblique imaging and LiDAR airborne sensors and is specifically designed for airborne urban mapping that captures the highest resolution images of entire cities for terrestrial survey data.
