NATA Names Jenny Ann Urban Managing Director of Air Charter and Maintenance, Thanks Ken Thompson for Service to the Association and Industry
Jenny Ann Urban joins the NATA (National Air Transportation Association) team as managing director of Air Charter and Maintenance. In this role, Urban monitors executive branch agency activities and serves as the team liaison to NATA’s Air Charter and Maintenance committees. She also represents the association at industry and government meetings, hearings and events, as well as plays a crucial role in advancing NATA’s mission and advocacy efforts through industry engagement, project management and stakeholder collaboration.
NATA Welcomes Passage of House FAA Reauthorization Bill
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) applauds the U.S. House of Representative’s approval of H.R. 3935, the Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act, by a vote of 351-69. The bill reauthorizes Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) programs for the next five years while making significant improvements to the agency’s operational efficiency, oversight of aviation safety, commitment to innovation, investment in aviation workforce, and more.

Volatus Infrastructure Joins NATA AAM Committee
Volatus Infrastructure, LLC co-founder, Grant Fisk, joins the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Committee. The AAM Committee is NATA’s newest committee and aims to provide stakeholder input on the path forward for FBOs and airports planning to service the next generation of aircraft and address sustainable infrastructure, such as vertiports, where innovative solutions in transporting people and goods will impact the overall aviation ecosystem.
Todd Anderson Named NATA Board Vice Chair
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces that Todd Anderson, A.A.E., chief operating officer of Sheltair Aviation, has been named board vice chair at the Association’s fall board of directors meeting held in conjunction with NATA’s Aviation Business Conference last week in Miami.
Stephens Named NATA Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, McGraw Stays on as Senior Advisor (Security)
The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) announces that Alan Stephens, former FAA Flight Standards’ acting deputy director of the Office of Air Carrier Safety Assurance (ACSA), has been named vice president of Regulatory Affairs. Stephens will take over as department head from John McGraw, who will continue to foster collaboration and connectivity between the Transportation Security Administration and industry in his new role as NATA senior advisor (Security).
