Satcom Direct, a business-aviation solutions provider, announces that its advanced technology Plane Simple® Ku-band tail-mount terminal is now available through Gulfstream for Gulfstream G650, G650ER, G500 and G600 production aircraft. The first G600 equipped with the advanced tail mount connectivity system has been delivered, and additional Gulfstream aircraft installations are already in progress.

True Blue Power announces a supplemental type certificate (STC) for the company’s TFC4000 Frequency Converter on Gulfstream G450, G550, G650 and G650ER aircraft. The converter provides up to 4,000 watts of wall outlet power to cabin equipment.

CAE inaugurates its first Gulfstream-dedicated business-aviation training center, which will be a key component to training more pilots and maintenance technicians over the coming decades. The maintenance training program, which will include state-of-the-art virtual reality, will be offered on Gulfstream G280, G650 and G500/G600 business jets. The Savannah facility is CAE’s fifth business-aviation training center in the United States.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces it has delivered the final commercial Gulfstream G550™ to an international customer, further increasing the worldwide fleet of more than 600 G550s already in service. The delivery took place June 30.
