If you like solving complex problems using your extensive quality inspection skills, this is the opportunity for you! As a Technical Quality Assurance Inspector IV, youll inspect aircraft systems, production components, and support fulfilling all contractual and quality requirements, as well as verify our aircraft installed systems, logistics operations, production components, and support functions. Youll inspect operational components for serviceability and proper installation, validate Field Service Technician’s work, develop and review operational procedures, and function as the on-site Aviation Safety Official. Youll capture and analyze statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards, as well as make recommendations for new or enhanced methods, procedures, standards, and reporting. Youll build and maintain effective relationships with our customers and provide them with appropriate feedback and training.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.   • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
    • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
    • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Advanced ability to understand and interpret technical schematics and documents
  • Extensive understanding of electrical wiring concepts
  • Substantial knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Products
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Must be able to pass an occupational physical that includes a hearing and vision test
  • To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

  • Knowledge and ability to interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Experience drafting work instructions and SOPs
  • Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
  • Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or other measuring equipment
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards
