Texas State Technical College Chooses T-RX Avionics Tester

CCX Technologies reveals that the Texas State Technical College (TSTC) Waco campus is using the T-RX avionics tester to train students in its avionics technology program. Earlier this year, TSTC purchased three of the company’s testers to help expand student knowledge as they prepare for their careers in avionics maintenance.

“Helping the next generation of avionics technicians hit the ground running in their new careers is important for CCX,” says Chris Bartlett, president of CCX Technologies. “The T-RX is a leap forward in technology, designed to be intuitive and easy to use — perfect for both experienced avionics technicians and the newest industry entrants graduating from colleges like TSTC. We are very proud they selected our avionics tester and look forward to supporting them.”

The T-RX is an all-in-one avionics tester that conducts 100+ tests on over 16 systems with only one device. It is small, lightweight and straightforward to use, with its intuitive user interface reducing setup and training time. Wi-Fi and Ethernet interfaces are integrated in the T-RX for simple software upgrades, feature updates and generation of test reports.

“A key objective of TSTC’s avionics technology program is to ensure that students are exposed to the broadest range of technology available while they are learning to troubleshoot and maintain avionics,” says Martin Segraves, chair of the avionics department at Texas State Technical College. “As soon as we saw the T-RX in operation, we knew that this device would be a strong addition to this program. Working on the latest and greatest maintenance technologies, like the T-RX, helps our students be prepared for the range of devices they’ll encounter in the field. Students practice testing avionics with the T-RX touchscreen device alongside their older analog and digital counterparts. This offers our students the diverse experience needed to start their careers in the avionics field.”
