Job Description:A position of Thermo-Mechanical Engineer for Flight Units Assemblies is now open in Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense Space) in Tres Cantos (Madrid area) for different Space business: Launchers, Earth Exploration (Copernicus), Space Exploration (Artemis), Commercial (Telecommunications Satellites). This is an opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic Technical Team focused on:•    Shape the future based on innovation of our products, new technologies and way of working •    State of the art product consolidation•    Continuous Performance improvementDefinitely, we are moved by our passion to make it fly!In accordance with the proven Candidate skills, she/he will be part of Thermo-Mechanical Design team and will report/be supported by the relevant Team Leader. Functionally, the Candidate is also part of the Project, with the main mission of developing/designing electronic units for flight equipment to achieve the unit delivery in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality requirements. In a day-to-day basis, she/he will report to Project Manager. Within each project, the tasks are coordinated by a Technical Responsible or a Physical Design Responsible in charge of direct reporting to the Project Manager.The Engineer’s tasks comprise the complete development of an electronic equipment: from the analysis of the requirements to the final delivery of the flight model once accepted.The successful applicant will be in charge of the following tasks:•    Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible for the analysis of project requirements.•    Mechanical and Thermal Architecture analysis and design at module and unit level to assure the robustness of the design in the complete mission scenarios (compatible with mechanical loads, temperature range, radiation shielding…). •    Documentation of the design and analysis.•    Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the main project reviews (Requirement Review, Preliminary and Architecture Review, Critical Design Review…)•    Support to Test Team for the acceptance of flight equipment, ensuring a close monitoring of any change, evolution or discrepancy from the agreed baseline in the characterization phase.•    Support to the Technical Manager or Project Physical Design Responsible in the resolution of NCRs (Non-conformance) raised during qualification or acceptance test campaign. Required skillsWe are looking for Candidates with the following skills and experience:- Experience in Thermodynamics and heat transfer analysis.- Experience in Mechanical analysis, like static and dynamic analysis, sinusoidal or random vibration analysis, shock transient analysis (Shock Response Spectrum).- Proficiency in the use of the following Finite Elements Tools:Hypermesh- Femap- Nastran NXRecommended skills are: •    Five years of expertise in Thermodynamics and Mechanical design•    Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability•    Digital mindset (automation of tasks, scripting - Python, TCL, Bash, C/C43;43;, use of digital design tools and simulators)•    Knowledge of space environment constraints•    To be familiar with Agile Methodologies•    Fast prototyping HW techniques•    Happy to learn and teach others Education background requirementsEngineering Master39;s degreeLanguage: English C1 SpanishFeel like you can39;t tick some boxes above?
