Update on GoFundMe Fundraising Effort for Gia Memorial

As many of you have heard, our long time contributing writer Giacinta Bradley Koontz (Gia) passed away earlier this year. She graced the pages of D.O.M. magazine with her Bench Marks in Aviation History column in each issue of the magazine, highlighting aviation maintenance professionals from the past.

In June, a GoFundMe page was launched to raise funds for a memorial plaque for Gia to be placed at the Portal of the Folded Wings Shrine to Aviation and Museum in Los Angeles, CA.

As of July 15, the fundraising effort is more than half way to its goal!

The page can be viewed at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/friends-of-giacinta-bradley-koontz.

It is great to see all the generous donations. The comments also highlight the many people Gia touched through her writing and friendship!
