Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a First Line Leader to support V-22 Modification Maintenance within Field Operations at one of the following locations: MCAS Miramar, CA; MCAS Kaneohe Bay, HI, Hurlburt Field AFB, FL, NAS North Island, CA and NAS Norfolk, VA.This position is expected to be 100 onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This leader has RAA over a dynamic team of modification technicians, maintenance technicians, and supply specialists in the performance of V-22 maintenance and upgrades at remote customer-owned locations. Works closely with the stakeholders, partners, customers and leadership to support deliver of quality modification and maintenance installations to our customer. Develops and motivates a team of diverse skills, capability, and experience to maximize individual and team performance. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, acquires resources, and maintains quality, safety, schedule, and cost plans. Understands contractual language and requirements to ensure compliance and execution.Position Responsibilities:

  • The V-22 Modification Maintenance Leader operates in a fast paced environment augmenting and/or leading modification and/or maintenance within a highly complex and multi organizational customer environment to deliver against contractual requirements and mission execution.
  • As a successful candidate you will be embedded within a Performance Based environment working alongside peers, teams and customers in dynamic and operationally focused atmosphere.
  • Working within a multifaceted stakeholder landscape and with often immature, developing and changing requirements, you will be expected to lead work packages and/or projects to deliver customer.
  • Your advocacy and knowledge will be vital in helping the customer achieve their business objectives
  • You will act as ambassador for The Boeing Company at appropriate client organization levels (grade dependent) and will be responsible for generating full or elements of, execution solutions in line with the contractual requirements.
  • You will be an energetic self-starter with the correct proficiency and attitude that can build enduring customer intimacy and high performing teams within an exciting and demanding arena
  • You will be experienced within the delivery of small to medium size projects or work packages, metrics and requirements based on Boeing processes and procedures
  • Develops overall project plan consistent with project objectives as defined by the project owner and key stakeholders
  • Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives, tactical and strategic goals of the organization.
  • Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
  • Represents program/organization as a prime contact on local day-to-day operations.
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 543; years of team or project leadership experience
  • 343; years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Operations
  • 343; years of experience with aircraft modification programs
  • Experience integrating multiple contracts simultaneously
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with 4790.2 Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) and AFI 21-101
  • Experience working with and briefing USG customers on performance status
  • Experience with V-22 Modification/Maintenance
  • Experience with Field Service and/or Modification leadership
  • Experience with Military Program Support
  • Experience with Estimating and Proposal Support
