Web-based Quoting Platform MRO Insider Launches Virtual DOM

Aviation maintenance quoting website, MRO Insider, announces the launch of a new feature — Virtual DOM. Flight departments now have the ability to select maintenance oversight, including squawk/invoice review by a team of experienced maintenance directors such as Thoroughbred’s president/founder, Nathan Winkle.

Andy Nixon, co-founder of MRO Insider, says, “By teaming up with Nathan and his team at Thoroughbred, we now provide an avenue for aircraft owner/operators to dramatically increase their confidence when submitting and receiving maintenance quotes through our online platform, including physical oversight of the project when requested.”

Nixon continues, “Virtual DOM is a large step in the continued quest to provide transparency and standardization in the corporate-aviation industry, all within a secure, anonymous environment.”

“The Virtual DOM component allows owners and operators to leverage decades of actual directors' of maintenance expertise to support the RFQ and maintenance-project oversight,” says Winkle. “Our team of industry technical leaders, coupled with the ease of the quoting technology offered by our friends at MRO Insider, is the best way for owners and operators to save time and have peace of mind. By reducing surprises and enabling transparency, we feel this strategic partnership is a significant benefit for our industry."
