FULL-TIME, CONTRACT TO HIREOPPORTUNITY HIRING URGENTLY Contract Type: 3 months before going permanent Location: Valencia, CA Pay Rate: $22.00 - $37.00 Hourly Shift: 1st shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Overview:Aerotek Aviation is seeking Welders

  • TIG welding
  • Blueprints
  • Precision measuring tools

This candidate will be working within an aerospace manufacturing facility and be performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on various production machinery (90 of their machinery is CNC).Requirements:

  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
  • Set up components for welding according to specifications
  • Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
  • Grinding parts before and after welding.
  • Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
  • Checks and tests products using a variety of hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, altitude gages, digital gages, dial indicators and drop indicators to ensure conformance to specifications.
