West Star Aviation Appoints Director of Quality Assurance

West Star announces the appointment of Gary A. Schandl as director of Quality Assurance for all West Star facilities.

Schandl has over 45 years of aviation experience with the majority being in quality, while previously holding positions at Midcoast/Jet Aviation. He holds an A&P license as well as an IA (Inspector Authorizations) license and has served 25 years as an FAA Designee DAR (Designated Airworthiness Representative). He also supports the aviation community by serving on several advisory boards.
