West Star Aviation Promotes Melanie Medina to NDT Lead (GJT)

West Star announces the promotion of Melanie Medina to NDT lead at its Grand Junction, CO (GJT), facility.

Medina has been with West Star since 2012 but began her aviation career back in high school where she started with Western Skyways, tearing down engines. During her time there she earned her powerplant license while also learning NDT.

“Melanie has gained experience and knowledge in NDT very quickly. Paired with her organization and great attention to detail, she will be a great lead for NDT for years to come,” says Jeremy Ficklin, program manager (GJT).

“I appreciate the opportunity to continue my career with West Star while growing my skills and expertise in the NDT field,” says Medina.
