Yingling Aviation Finalizing Gogo AVANCE L3, L5 and LX5 STC for Hawker

Yingling Aviation is finalizing supplemental type certificate (STC) development for the installation of Gogo AVANCE L3, L5 and provisions for LX5 inflight connectivity systems on Hawker 750, 800, 800XP, 850XP and 900XP aircraft, further expanding its capabilities in advanced cabin connectivity solutions.
Connectivity remains a top priority for flight departments, where inoperable or outdated systems can result in lost charter revenue and reduced passenger productivity. As demand grows for faster, more reliable inflight connectivity, operators are increasingly turning to MRO providers for scalable, future-ready solutions.
“Connectivity is no longer a luxury in the cabin — it’s an expectation,” says Josh Peterson, regional sales manager and avionics expert at Yingling Aviation. “What’s exciting about this STC is the flexibility it brings. Whether an operator needs a cost-effective solution or the highest level of performance, we’re able to meet them where they are and provide a clear upgrade path as technology continues to evolve.”
Yingling Aviation has submitted data to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is in the final stages of STC approval. With Gogo’s new LTE network coming online in May and its 5G network already active, operators now have an ideal opportunity to upgrade their aircraft with next-generation connectivity solutions.
Gogo’s AVANCE LX5 system represents the latest advancement in air-to-ground connectivity, designed to fully leverage the Gogo 5G network. The system delivers significantly higher throughput and lower latency than previous technologies. This enables streaming-grade performance, supporting video, VPN, cloud applications and multiple devices simultaneously across the contiguous United States and parts of Canada.
The AVANCE L5 system provides a high-performance Gogo Biz 4G connectivity experience, supporting streaming, browsing and full smartphone functionality through Gogo Skyline. With an advanced cabin router, L5 delivers seamless 4G coverage across the continental United States, parts of Canada, and Alaska, offering a reliable and fully integrated onboard connectivity solution.
For operators seeking a more cost-effective option, the AVANCE L3 system utilizes Gogo’s legacy 3G air-to-ground network to provide essential connectivity services, including email, web browsing, messaging and voice communication. Available in Plus and Max configurations, the L3 system offers scalable solutions tailored to varying mission requirements and passenger demands.
“This program is a great example of our commitment to staying ahead of the curve and supporting the evolving needs of our customers and the industry,” says Gregg Fahrenbruch, chief executive officer of Yingling Aviation. “We are focused on bringing forward-thinking solutions to market that help operators stay connected, competitive, and prepared for what’s next.”
Operators interested in upgrading their Hawker aircraft are encouraged to contact Yingling Aviation’s sales team for additional information or to request a proposal.
