M1 is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Aircraft Logs Records Technician. The role involves maintaining
aircraft and engine logbooks, performing data entry, analysis, and recordkeeping functions in support of aircraft
maintenance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling aviation maintenance documentation,
troubleshooting data issues, and ensuring accurate recordkeeping to support military deployment operations.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Aircraft and Engine Records Maintenance: Maintain aircraft and engine logbooks and associated
records in accordance with military guidelines.
2. Data Entry and Retrieval: Perform operator, data entry and retrieval functions related to aircraft
recordkeeping, ensuring data integrity.
3. Networking and Error Correction: Perform networking functions between individual stations and
troubleshoot hardware/software errors affecting data entry.
4. Data Transmission: Transmit and receive data via computer storage devices, modems, and other
electronic means, and create backups and archives for military deployments.
5. Clerical and Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, correspondence, and database/system analyses
related to aircraft maintenance.
6. Report Preparation: Draft, review, and submit aircraft/engine management and inventory reports,
ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
7. Compliance and Analysis: Monitor aircraft configuration, weight and balance data, and support
equipment records for accuracy. Ensure compliance with Technical Directives (TDs) and established
maintenance procedures.
8. Support Equipment and Maintenance Action Forms: Initiate, distribute, and manage maintenance
action forms (MAFs) as required.
9. Collaborative Work: Assist in preparing maintenance plans, manage technical support programs, and
provide guidance to co-workers as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory. A minimum of three (3)
years of production/planning data accumulation and reporting experience in military services.
• US Navy Aviation Maintenance Administration Experience: Previous experience in US Navy aviation
maintenance administration, particularly at the organizational level is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Military Maintenance Operations: Knowledge of military aircraft systems and aviation
recordkeeping procedures preferred.
• Logbook Documentation: Proficiency with documentation of aircraft maintenance records and the use
of OOMA/NALCOMIS systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with governing programs, policies, and work methods; ability to
analyze and resolve data-related issues.
• Technical Directives: (TD): Experience managing TD compliance and aircraft support equipment (SE)
parts management for Depot and Organizational Level TDs.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government Common Access Card (CAC). Defense Biometric
Identification System (DBIDS), for temporary use only while waiting for CAC.
• Required to possess and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 3 Background Investigation, (Non-Critical
Sensitive/IT-II).
Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Computer usage for documentation using codes and clear written and verbal English language required.
• Constant use of eyesight abilities while reviewing documents, walking around work areas and constant
use of English language speech/hearing abilities for communication.
• Constant mental alertness around all work areas, must possess planning/organization skills. And must
be able to work under deadlines.
• Climbing aircraft using aircraft step and all types of ladders or stands.
• Standing log periods of time and minimal sitting.
• Ability to work under extreme weather conditions.
• Requires constant mental alertness, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic
environment.
• Ability to meet physical demands and pass any required medical examinations.
• Must be able to work all shifts. employment: however, 40 hours is not guaranteed per-week.
Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on flight schedule
and or overall tasking.
