- Level 1 = 1+ years
- Level 2 = 4 + years
- Level 3 = 10+ years
Duties Include:
- Perform bench and/or flight line testing, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on aircraft systems
- Modify, install, and test wire bundles and avionics components
- Analyze circuits, calculate waveforms, and trace signal flows using advanced diagnostic tools
- Interpret schematics, blueprints, wire diagrams, and work instructions
- Diagnose and correct assembly malfunctions using precision tools and instruments
- Collaborate with peers and management to determine optimal repair processes
- Mentor and support junior technicians; may lead teams on complex assignments
- Work from ladders or in confined spaces and lift up to 35 lbs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Hazardous Energy and Lock Out/Tag Out protocols
- Support cross-functional teams (Structures, General Mechanics, Electrical) as needed to meet project goals
- Heavy aircraft platforms
- Proficiency in Aircraft Avionics Systems (Comm Nav, Radar, Data Links, Weapons)
- Experience in applied mathematics, statistics, or related field
- interpreting schematics, specs, drawings, and SOPs.
- Aircraft computer systems and standard office software
