We are seeking a passionate and experienced A P Mechanic to join our team. As an A P Mechanic at Lakeland Aircraft, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and modifications on various aircraft types. Requirements:
- Perform routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters
- Conduct thorough inspections and identify any issues or discrepancies
- Perform repairs, replacements, and modifications as necessary
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior mechanics when necessary
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A P) certificate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
- Experience working with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and components
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership experience or a desire to take on leadership roles
