Job Description JOB DESCRPITIONUnder general direction, the person performing this job is responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment for production equipment, support equipment, and facilities. Ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plan. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Diagnosis commercial chillers
  • Diagnosis HVAC (Rooftop and Mini split) units
  • Diagnosis of Firing Furnaces
  • Diagnosis refrigeration equipment
  • Diagnosis dehumidification systems
  • Provide service of Makeup air units
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrates concern for safety of self and others
  • Self-starter with continuous improvement focus
  • Calculates figures - basic math and some algebra
  • Effectively communicates in verbal and written form
  • Listens to and understands ideas presented by operators, co-workers, supervisors, and others
  • Plans and executes work with limited supervision
  • Performs visual inspection
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose a problem
  • Troubleshooting
  • Great attention to detail
  • Organization
  • Work in a team setting

SKILLS/EXPERTISE/EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Journeyman’s Card or Certification preferred, but not required
  • 1-3 years manufacturing experience
