Avionics Technician
Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking skilled Avionics Technicians to support phase maintenance, resets, and modifications on CH-47, UH-60, and SH-60 aircraft. This role focuses on avionics installations, troubleshooting, and wiring tasks in a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility.Military candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. Rotary- or fixed-wing avionics experience (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard) is highly valued.Responsibilities • Perform phase maintenance and resets on CH-47, UH-60, and SH-60 aircraft • Conduct avionics modifications and installations (glass cockpit, comms, navigation, autopilot, etc.) • Troubleshoot and resolve avionics and electrical issues • Route, run, and terminate wires, harnesses, and connectors • Perform crimping, pinning, continuity checks, and system testing • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical ordersQualifications • Required: 3+ years of avionics maintenance, installation, or troubleshooting experience • Experience with UH-60, AH-64, OH-58, CH-47, or similar aircraft • Ability to route, crimp, pin, and terminate wires accurately • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and schematicsPreferred Skills • Fixed-wing avionics experience with strong troubleshooting ability • Modification and prototype installation experience Why Work Here? • Competitive Pay: $30 – $34/hour, with overtime available • Military-Friendly: Transition your avionics skills directly into civilian programs • Stable Schedule: 40 hours per week, 1st shift (6 AM – 2:30 PM) • Work Environment: Air-conditioned facility with modern tools and equipment • Growth Opportunity: Contract-to-hire with career advancement potentialPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.• Medical, dental vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life AD D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Huntsville,AL.Application DeadlineThis position is anticipated to close on Sep 30, 2025.
