Job Title: Avionics Techician Job DescriptionThis role involves performing organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance, including inspection, operational testing, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems. The installer will work on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment, applying advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other team members as needed.Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, operational tests, repair, modification, troubleshooting, and replacement of aircraft electrical/avionics systems.
  • Utilize skills in avionics modifications, troubleshooting, and installation.
  • Work with harnesses, avionics electrical systems, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform crimping and splicing of wires, sheet metal work, blueprint reading, fabrication, and wiring schematics.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of three years’ previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience.
  • Experience with depot-level modifications and maintenance.
  • Experience with high-performance military aircraft or military fixed-wing aircraft.

Additionally, paid time off is accrued, with 40 hours available after six months and another 40 hours after one year.Work EnvironmentThe position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Thursday, with working hours from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.Job Type LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
