STS Aviation Services is growing rapidly, and we are looking for experienced Contractor B1 Aircraft Mechanics to join our Manchester Hangar. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the next chapter of our journey as one of the UK’s leading MRO providers.
Applicants MUST either be Citizens of the United Kingdom or currently have valid work authorisation for the UK, with at least 2 years remaining until its expiration date.
Key Duties Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
  • Follow STS and customer-specific processes, recording all maintenance activity and ensuring man-hour bookings are accurate and timely
  • Execute the highest standards of maintenance, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to customer satisfaction
  • Maintain the highest standard of safety and cleanliness, complying with all company procedures and policies
  • Fully comply with Health Safety requirements and COSHH regulations

Skills and Abilities

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing repairs, overhaul and maintenance on large commercial aircraft
  • Current authorisation to work in the UK for any employer
  • Valid DBS or ability to obtain one
  • Previous live aircraft mechanical experience
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
