Warrior Training Readiness SolutionsCamp Casey, South KoreaOverview:Under minimal supervision perform scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance on TADSS (e.g. CCTT, AVCATT, VCTS) following technical manuals, preventive maintenance checklists, or industry best practices when no checklist is available. Informs the government of the maintenance timelines for both staffed and unstaffed sites. Ensures maintenance tasks do not conflict with training, exercises, and testing. Records all maintenance activities in real-time in MAXIMO. Maintains inventory items, tracking them by part number, serial number, and location. Sets up and tests training devices to confirm the equipment functions as expected, including interoperability and operation verification. Analyzes maintenance trends, tracks component consumption, implements risk management strategies, and conducts failure analysis to minimize risks and improve system reliability. Installs modifications or upgrade kits as per manufacturers instructions. May serve as a preventive rover for unstaffed sites. Prepare CCTT modules for the exercise event. Initialize and troubleshoot the CCTT suites. Provide the following services for the CCTT modules and associated equipment: Facilitates prep for transportation, set-up of equipment, initializing and troubleshooting. Upon termination of the exercise, oversee prep for transportation, facilitate set up of equipment, initializing and troubleshooting prior to training support. Major Job Activities:
- 50 - Perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on TADSS equipment.
- 10 - Records all maintenance activities in real-time in MAXIMO and reporting systems.
- 15 - Set-up and tests TADSS and Training Devices, including interoperability and operation verification.
- 25 - Perform electrical and mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.
- Serve as a preventive rover for unstaffed sites.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
- Government Furnished Equipment (GFP), Components-Off-The-Shelf (COTS), Hand tools, soldering station, and specialized test equipment to include Digital Multimeter.
Working Environment:
- 90 of the regular work environment is inside simulation facilities either onsite or a Point of Need (PoN) location wherever training is being conducted.
- 10 of the regular work is within an office environment.
Physical Activities:
- Physical activities include stooping, bending, lifting and/or carrying up to 35 lbs.
- Short periods of walking and standing for extended periods are likely.
Qualifications:
- Education / Certifications:
- 2-year associate degree in Electronics related fieldor
- Possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) in a related discipline.
- Experience:
- (6 years with No Degree) or (4 years with AA) or (2 years with BA/BS) or (1 year with MA/MS)
- Prior CCTT family of training device knowledge preferred.
- Skills & Technology Used:
- Experience using Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeter, Function Generator, Power supply, and multiple hand tools
- Experience with Microsoft office suite.
Clearance:
- Active Secret or the ability to obtain a Secret within 6 months of hire
