F-16 Aircraft Fuel Technician - Eglin AFB, FL - Direct Hire Opportunity!!
NTS is Searching for an F-16 Aircraft Technician (Fuels) for a Direct Hire Opportunity at Eglin AFB, FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide line maintenance, line servicing and inspection level maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Ensure the work accomplished on any aircraft or component is in compliance with:
- Applicable airworthiness standards and OEM instructions
- Company Policies and Procedures
- Regulated safety standards
- Ensure that all replacement parts are inspected, eligible, and properly certified prior to installation
- Ensure that removed parts are properly tagged and routed to quarantine
- Carry out maintenance, repair, modification and daily inspection of the company aircraft as detailed in the company maintenance control manual
- Complete and certify work reports for all work accomplished on the aircraft
- Follow company procedures as per the maintenance control manual using safe work practices
- Carry out both line and heavy maintenance activities in accordance with operational standards
- Carry out Independent Checks when authorized as per company policies and procedures
- Carry out Receiving Inspections when authorized, as per company policies and procedures
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Skills Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success working on complex assignments requiring considerable judgment, initiative and technical/specialized knowledge
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while fostering a positive attitude.
- Must have strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills/
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Must demonstrate safe and healthy workplace practices
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.
- Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of an Aircraft Technician II in daily work performance.
- Must be able to work in various weather environments and conditions.
- Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any installation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- USAF 5 level or equivalent with progressive and documented experience.
- High school diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 7 years direct maintenance experience and training on F-16 aircraft.
- FAA Airframe and Power Plant (A P) license/certification preferred but not required.
