  • Works from drawings, blueprints manufacturing specifications and procedures, quality procedures and instructions, operations and worksheets, and company, military, and customer specifications and procedures.
  • Drills, edge fills, fits, and assembles a variety of detail parts, skins, and honeycomb details.
  • Inspects for proper installations and integrity.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, illustrations, work instructions, and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, identities, and relationships of parts.

  • Fabricate replacement covering, panels, or fairings using the removed parts as samples.
  • Cleans corrosion and treats metal surfaces per the manufacturerrsquo;s instructions and specifications.
  • Identifies fasteners and determines grip lengths required.
  • Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooth surfaces safely use hand and portable power tools.
