MUST CURRENTLY LIVE IN TRAVEL DISTANCE OF THE AIRPORT Role PurposeThis role is responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. These vehicles include but are not limited to support trucks, stationary carts, tankers, and hydrant trucks.
As a member of the Menzies Aviation Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic team you will be responsible for the safe and efficient repairing and rebuilding of airport service vehicles. You will be required to inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
In order to be successful in this role you are expected you will need to complete all the scheduled maintenance and cleaning activities on time to keep all the equipment in good working condition. To Assist Maintenance technicians to carry out the repair works of all equipment installed at QACC to avoid an unpredicted breakdown which can delay the entire operation of the catering unit.
To be successful in this role you will be responsible to carry out planned prevented maintenance tasks as required as part of the maintenance program. Undertake and carry out repairs and fault rectification as reported to ensure operational effectiveness of the business. Carry out work assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
