The Quality Control Specialist II is responsible for ensuring quality requirements are achieved for both delivered product and service provision.
DUTIES

Redstone Technologies (Training Services Division - TSD) is seeking a qualified Airframe and Powerplant (A P) mechanic with Inspector Authorization (IA) to maintain airplanes and manage equipment installation at its Production Facility (Hangar) in Bridgewater, VA.

 

The duties of the A P Mechanic (with IA)  include, but are not limited to, the duties below:

What you will do:Troubleshooting, inspections, routine and non-routine maintenance on components in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance specifications and within FAA and customer standards. Return to Service components that have completed all required maintenance actions utilizing customer authorized documentation.

AMES is partnering with Laurel Oaks Aviation to offer Aviation Maintenance Students a casual Intern position. The Intern will have the opportunity to gain insight and experience in many different aspects and job scopes available within the aviation industry.

What you will do:The Tool Repair Support Tech ensures tools are maintained in a serviceable status through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on HVM tools and equipment is performed in a timely manner. Tools are maintained in a serviceable status. Provides documentation for tooling needing replaced or sent out for repair.What you need:

Perform typical maintenance actions that include bolting, torquing, rigging, and safety wiring to include the removal and replacement of aircraft components, engines, and flight controls Responsible for completing and attaching parts tags to removed repairable, serviceable, or condemned parts IAW with customer and/or repair station guidelines.

What you’ll be doing…at the coreResponsible to ensure all airworthiness quality requirements are performed and documented in accordance with all applicable regulations in regard to maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair and alteration of aircraft, engine and aircraft components/parts for which the Repair Station is rated.

Position PurposeThe individual in this position, under supervision, will learn to perform maintenance on S64E and S64F model helicopters. The majority of the job will take place away from a fixed location.This position works towards obtaining an Airframe Powerplant certification.Duties Responsibilities
