Job Summary:To perform modification and structural repairs on experimental, production and fielded aircraft. Includingrepair of severely damaged aircraft and/or completion of heavy modifications. Performs functional checksof aircraft pressurization systems including pilot oxygen and oxygen generating systems.

The Aircraft Mechanic Lead assigned to this position is a working lead responsible to the Off-Site Supervisor for performing duties as assigned. Frequently exercises independent judgment and possesses abilities sufficient to supervise a crew of aircraft mechanics.

This occupation includes jobs involved in disassembling, repairing, testing, troubleshooting, examining, fitting, modifying, maintaining, installing, and determining serviceability of aircraft survival and flight equipment such as helmets, torso harness assemblies, preservers, parachutes, life rafts, chemical and biological protective devices, survival kits, oxygen masks, and anti-G-suits.

Mobile Service Technicians (MST) will focus on the maintenance activities and work scope of Customer aircraft. Will identify and correct issues on malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems. Performs a variety of diagnostic and mechanical duties on Jet aircraft and assist with the scheduling and coordination of the work of others in the crew.

Performs a variety of mechanical duties involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
