* Verifies the correct assembly at the in-process assembly stages as described in the applicable inspection plan. * Performs physical inspection of the assembled product prior to the performance of any functional tests performed to verify safe completion of the product. * Uses production control systems and generates reports for product documentation files.

* Ensures the functional and acceptable status of the non-destructive test equipment in accordance with the appropriate company process. * Determines the acceptance of parts and components for surface condition in preparation for the non-destructive test process. * Performs the specific non-destructive test process as identified in the shop order work instruction.

Key Responsibilities and Duties: • Maintain a safe and clean working environment. • Conduct all work in accordance with company policies, health and safety procedures, quality procedures, manufactures and customer specification and industry regulations. • Raise Non-conformance reports as necessary.

The Lead, A P Mechanic performs routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan and turboprop-powered corporate aircraft, to include troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft components and engines. Performs engine removal and reinstallation, operational checks, leak checks, and engine runs.

** Only students currently enrolled in a Aviation Maintenance Program are eligible.

The A P Mechanic is responsible for performing routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan powered aircraft.

The A P Inspector ensures the airworthiness of customer aircraft and ensures that regulatory and company requirements are met. Maintains proper communication and coordination between Production and Inspection personnel to deliver the customer’s product on time, in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies/procedures.

Lead Mechanic (T8):

  • Highly proficient with in depth knowledge of engine/module and component induction, kitting and assemble, inspection and dismantle
  • Expertise with technical documents and manuals and acts as a resource to other mechanics
  • Guides and trains other levels of mechanics
  • May have contact with customers
