Job DescriptionAmentum is looking for an Aircraft Mechanic Helper to join our team in Elizabeth City, NC. Must be able to obtain and maintain NACI/T1 clearance and be a US citizen. The Aircraft Mechanic Helper assists the Aircraft Mechanic in servicing, repairing and overhauling aircraft and aircraft engines.

Classification Description Repairs, maintains, and inspects aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment under the technical direction of an Aircraft Mechanic, Aircraft Mechanic (Senior) or Lead. Removes and installs aircraft components. Conducts functional tests of repaired components and systems. Special certifications may be required.

The Aircraft Servicer services aircraft, performing any combination of the following tasks, directs incoming and outgoing aircraft near terminal or flight line parking area to assist pilots maneuvering of the aircraft on ground, using hand or light signals or drives light truck with guiding sign, and secures aircraft in parking position with aircraft wheel chocks, installs landing gear and safi

The CBP Aircraft Mechanic II maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures and structural components of moderate difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

Principal Accountabilities:

The C-12 Transport Aircraft Mechanic AM-1 (King Air/C-12 FAA AP)  Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. 

The C-12 Transport Aircraft Mechanic - AM-2 (King Air/C-12 AP)  Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft. 

The C-12 Transport Aircraft Mechanic- AM-3 (FAA AP)  Performs organizational and intermediate level maintenance on King Air 200/350/1900 and/or C-12 aircraft.
