Duties :

  • Perform assembly, inspection, repair rework of small unmanned aircraft associated system components using best practices manufacturer procedures/directives.
  • Make small unmanned aircraft system airworthiness determinations.
  • Maintain maintenance alteration records via an electronic logbook.
  • Generate track malfunction, defect reliability reports.
  • Recover refurbish end-of-life components/parts.

What You'll Need :

  • FAA Airframe or Airframe Powerplant license.
  • At least 2 years training related to electrical mechanical inspection, rework repair, and assembly of aircraft systems.
  • Training or experience creating and managing assembly maintenance records.
  • Training or experience organizing and tracking parts consumable supplies.
  • A detail and process oriented work ethic.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision within an operations team.
  • Strong communication skills.

Bonus :

  • 1 or more years experience maintaining small unmanned aircraft related systems.
  • Knowledge of DC power systems, PWM (pulse width modulation) controls, CAN (controller area network) bus architecture LiPo (lithium polymer) battery systems (charging safety).
  • Knowledge experience with Linux command line, file structure, networking syntax.
  • Google G Suite experience.
  • Experience working in a quality process controlled environment.
  • Demonstrable wire terminal soldering skills.
  • Graduate of an aviation, electrical or mechanical trade school or university program.
