Repair and maintain components used for aircraft airframe and powerplant. Maintain records related to maintenance performed on the aircraft. Mechanics may also repair sheet metal or composite surfaces.

This role is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and disassembly tasks including, but not limited to, disassembly, assembly, evaluation, test, cleaning of parts and rework of components, and container and engine preparation for shipment. Assignments are typically accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions or engine manuals.

Responsible for maintaining the airframe and engines of aircraft to meet FAA standards. Job involves tasks such as performing routine checks and repairs, keeping records of inventory, and identifying faults with components of the plane. Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections.

Baker Aviation Maintenance LLC is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable A P Mechanics to join our FAA 145 Certified Repair Station Team. We are growing our business from 10 technicians to 40 technicians across 2 work shifts (1st and 2nd shift).   • Performs routine inspections or special maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft mechanical systems and components; performs complete operations checks on hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, plumbing, precision assemblies, rigging and controls, etc.

Service, repair, and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Works under moderate supervision to learn and perform basic tasks associated with aircraft maintenance. Advances through on-the-job training to regularly perform more challenging tasks and achieve greater compensation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will consult and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications to determine the best method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. The A P Tech position also will perform typical maintenance actions including bolting, torqueing, rigging, and safety wiring to include the removal and replacement of aircraft components, engines and flight controls.

We are looking for A P Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the maintenance and repair of aircraft systems, components, and structures in or out of school. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft in accordance with established safety regulations.

Ensures that sheet metal and composite shop repair activities are performed in accordance with company and FAA repair procedures and policies, and ensures conformance to prescribed standards and tolerances.
