Chipton-Ross is seeking an Avionic Technician for a contract opportunity in Greenville, SC.
This position is 100% onsite. You must be willing to work 1st and/or 2nd shift.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

2 - 3 years of paint/finishing experience in the Commercial, regional, business aviation industry, or military heavy transport.
Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge
Must be able to pass a DOT DS and BG check

6 years of interior install experience, preferably in the corporate aviation completion environment.
Must be able to obtain a SIDA Badge
Must be able to pass a DOT DS and BG check
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and understand blueprints

Must have 2 years of structures experience in an MRO environment
Must have your own Tools Tool Box
Must be able to work any shift
Current work is on Boeing 737, 757, 787 aircraft
Must pass DOT DS, BG, and 5 years of VOE

  • Provides supervision, guidance, and prioritization to assigned teams across multiple specialties and company requirements.
  • Ensures that all work performed by self or those under their supervision, including subcontractors, is performed in an airworthy manner and in compliance with approved technical data and that all maintenance steps have been accomplished.
  • Perform thorough inspection of aircraft structures, identifying and documenting any signs of damage or wear.
  • Execute repairs and modifications on various structural components, including but not limited to wing, fuselage, and tail sections.
  • Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
