Managing Lead AP Mechanic

- Review and evaluate daily maintenance and inspection tasks to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Notify the Lead Mechanic of any unusual issues that may require schedule or aircraft changes.
- Oversee maintenance operations at field bases, managing assigned aircraft and maintaining adequate stock for repairs.
- Prepare and certify aircraft logs and maintenance documentation to meet FAA and company standards.
- Ensure compliance with RAMCO system entries, including work packages and component installations.
- Maintain effective communication with the Lead Mechanic and team members to ensure timely job completion.
- Manage and monitor parts inventory, recommending adjustments to stock levels as needed.
- Maintain and calibrate company-provided special tools according to established schedules.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a certified mechanic.
- Strong communication and basic computer skills.
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical exams and required screenings.
- Experience in sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting (preferred for roving maintenance team members).
- Willingness to travel frequently and work night shifts as needed.
