  • Direct and assign work shifts for optimal production schedules.
  • Review maintenance requirements, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Evaluate completed work for adherence to methods, procedures, and practices.
  • Communicate with management regarding scheduling, aircraft needs, and manpower.
  • Make hiring recommendations and participate in recruitment.
  • Address performance issues and handle discipline review processes.
  • Mentor and train mechanics, tracking developmental progress.
  • Oversee maintenance and security of aircraft and company assets at field bases.
  • Prepare and certify reports and logs in compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure timely job completion.
  • Perform mechanical duties as time permits.
  • Ensure adherence to Job Safety Analysis and Safety Management System protocols.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required.
  • FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Certified Mechanic.
  • Knowledge of maintenance manuals, specifications, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Basic managerial and communication skills.
  • Competence in using computer systems.
  • Clear verbal communication skills (in-person and via phone).
  • Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, fitness test, drug screening, and background check.
