MRO Insider Upgrades Customer Review Feature

MRO Insider announces that the company has released an update to its technology, allowing aircraft operators to post public-facing reviews of service providers. This feature is available to all operators and, at this time, is not specific to events streamlined through the MRO Insider network. Any operator who has meaningful feedback on service providers listed on the platform is invited to share information about their experience.

Andy Nixon, co-founder and president of MRO Insider, says, “Over the past several years, companies have seen the percentage of people who seek reviews prior to purchasing an item increase from 72% to over 90%. This holds true within business aviation, with most operators wanting real feedback from real customers when they are considering a new service provider.”

The original MRO Insider platform included a customer review process that was popular among users. Nixon explains, “We have been working to develop an upgraded review system and are excited to announce that it has been released! We chose to use QR code technology so each provider is issued a personalized code to solicit reviews via e-mail, social media or on the ramp.”

MRO Insider employees will review, verify and approve all customer reviews submitted through the system to ensure fairness and transparency. The company is currently working on next phases of development to include the ability for providers to publicly respond to each review.

“We aren’t interested in belligerent customers or competitors using our platform to be vindictive or spiteful. We want to uphold an honest and transparent network and do that by posting accurate, fair and informative reviews for users looking to use a provider for the first time.”
