The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) announces that Laura Everington has joined the association as its director of flight operations and regulations.
Everington brings extensive industry experience to NBAA. In her new role, she will act as the staff liaison to the Regulatory Issues Advisory Group (RIAG) and the International Operations Committee (IOC). C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, announces that it has signed an agreement, conducted through Ernst & Young, to sell 737NG inventory owned by REX Airlines in Australia. The unfortunate circumstance of REX going into administration has resulted in its 737 fleet no longer flying and becoming available for sale. The inventory, containing a CFM56-7 engine, auxiliary power unit, landing gear, and other fast-moving parts, was purchased by REX to support its now grounded fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
