The Av8 Group announces it now offers an FAA-DER Approved replacement part for the Audio Control Panel (ACP) Push Button assembly. Over time with sustained and repeated use, the locking/toggle mechanism can become worn and cause button malfunctions. Av8 provides an updated switch housing unit designed for improved durability and reliability, restoring the part to a new condition, saving the end user significant money over the cost of replacement.

West Star Aviation announces it has completed the first ever 24 year, 4th C Inspection on a Falcon 900EX. The magnitude of this inspection involved most areas of the aircraft as well as in-depth inspection and repair of the winglets, nose and main landing gear, and engine. Additionally, interior and avionics updates were completed as well as custom exterior paint. The complete project was performed at the Alton, IL (ALN) facility, one of the four West Star full-service MRO locations.

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is temporarily waiving minimum slot-use requirements at U.S. airports to help airlines that cancel flights due to the Coronavirus. Under normal circumstances, airlines can lose their slots at congested airports if they don’t use them at least 80 percent of the time.
