StandardAero signs a new, TFE731 turbofan-engine MRO-services partnership agreement with Aerocare Aviation Services Ltd. to support business aviation operators on the European continent. The partnership, which was inked at the 2018 NBAA-BACE event in Orlando, will strengthen the company’s already strong presence as the only TFE731 OEM-authorized heavy/overhaul maintenance provider in EMEAI.

Ahead of this year’s NBAA-BACE, Flying Colours Corp. has reached a significant milestone as its Peterborough facility re-delivered its one hundredth major retrofit of a Bombardier Challenger model. The Bombardier Challenger 604, delivered in the first week of October, underwent a major overhaul of the cabin, avionics, connectivity and fuselage. Minor maintenance was conducted as the same aircraft had undergone a 96 month check at the Flying Colours Canadian headquarters just over a year ago for its previous owner.

Flying Colours Corp. announces it has completed its third 120-month heavy maintenance check on a Bombardier Global airframe. The ten-year inspection of the Global Express required the privately-owned aircraft to be stripped back to the airframe to enable a full structural inspection. The interior was also stripped bare, as wall panels, carpets, insulating surfaces, floorboards, monuments, external fairings and panels were removed to undergo maintenance assessments and the requisite overhauls.

Aviation test equipment manufacturer, ATEQ Aviation, has recently acquired a Chicago-based manufacturing company. Since 2002, Cobra Systems, Inc. has specialized in test adapters and kits for all aircraft. Founded in 2008, ATEQ Aviation is the newest of ATEQ Group’s three divisions. Aviation takes its place alongside the Leak Testing and Tire Pressure Monitoring Tools divisions. C&L Aerospace, a C&L Aviation Group company, is named the recommended vendor for CT7 ECMP and non-ECMP LRU-services support by GE Aviation.
