Job Title: A P Mechanic - Hayden, ID Job DescriptionAs an Aircraft Mechanic, you will perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by an air cargo carrier. You will be responsible for receiving task cards, reading blueprints, identifying necessary tools, and performing required repairs or installations before submitting them for inspection. Your work will encompass maintenance of engines, flight controls, and hydraulic and electrical systems, along with completing heavy maintenance checks and composite repairs, including fiberglass lay-up, curing, and sanding, as well as stabilizer boot replacements.Responsibilities

  • Perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft.
  • Receive task card, read blueprint, and identify necessary tools.
  • Conduct repairs or installations as required.
  • Submit completed work for inspection.
  • Maintain engines, flight controls, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Complete heavy maintenance checks and composite repairs.
  • Lay up, cure, and sand fiberglass.
  • Replace stabilizer boots.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Airframe license required; A P preferred.
  • Experience in basic composite repair and stabilizer boot replacements.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Must possess a complete set of tools including sockets, screwdrivers, pliers, and flashlight.

Additional Skills Qualifications

  • MRO experience is highly preferred.
  • Open to working various shift options.
