What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the primary accountable authority for all regional FAA Part 145 repair station activities, ensuring full regulatory compliance with FAA
  • Direct the allocation of financial, human, and facility resources to support optimal operational efficiency and seamless delivery of maintenance services throughout the service network
  • Oversee the assessment of personnel competency across all locations, ensuring staff possess the requisite qualifications and are executing duties in accordance with aviation safety requirements
  • Safeguard the integrity and quality of maintenance operations by verifying adherence to FAA-approved procedures and standards
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational direction for regional service centers, driving improvements in staffing, workflow efficiency, and forecasting accuracy
  • Lead talent management initiatives including recruitment, development, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and succession planning for key leadership roles
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to align business objectives and foster an integrated, high-performance service culture
  • Champion the formulation and execution of short- and long-term strategies designed to enhance customer satisfaction and elevate service delivery standards
  • Conduct Supplier Readiness Assessments (SRAs) to evaluate supplier capability in meeting current and future demand requirements, including assessments of tooling, staffing, and infrastructure
  • Define, communicate, and analyze supplier performance using metric-based scorecards and evaluation frameworks to ensure accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner with the CSafe Quality Department to establish, maintain, and monitor airworthiness standards for suppliers providing products or services critical to container integrity
  • Represent the organization during interactions with customers, regulators, and industry officials to promote transparency, compliance, and relationship-building
  • Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to develop improvement strategies, drive implementation, and monitor progress across the regional supplier base
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support business objectives and operational excellence
Requirements: 
  • Associate degree or equivalent on-the-job work experience.
  • 3+ yearsrsquo; experience working with and managing third-party partners.
  • 5+ yearsrsquo; experience managing others.
  • 5+ yearsrsquo; experience in a product maintenance or manufacturing-oriented environment. Managing a multisite organization preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of local airworthiness authority regulations (FAA)
  • Interacting with local airworthiness authority inspectors or equivalent regulatory agency.
  • Must possess or able to obtain valid local airworthiness authority Repairman Certification (FAA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of industry standard component control and tracking programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively with varying levels of an organization.
  • Solution oriented with an ability to take initiative, creating, implementing, and improving policies and procedures.
  • Possess good organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to travel 20%-25%.
