Dassault Falcon Jet, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dassault Aviation, marks the opening of a major new maintenance facility at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB). This facility represents a significant expansion of Dassault’s presence in the Americas and reflects the company’s long-term commitment to customer support, operational excellence, and regional investment. It is one of the recent additions to Dassault Aviation’s global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) network.

The D.O.M. magazine team has had a busy two days with lots of conversations at our booth, plenty of press conferences and seminars, and walking the show floor looking for new products and services for aircraft maintenance professionals.

True Blue Power, a provider of certified lithium-ion aircraft batteries, announces the company’s power products will deliver essential power to the Pilatus PC-24, the world’s first Super Versatile Jet (SVJ). Intelligent TB40 fifth-generation (Gen5) lithium-ion main ship batteries, TA202 series USB chargers and the TI2000 DC-to-AC inverter are certified on the aircraft.

Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum L.A.M. S.A. selects StandardAero to provide support services for the Pratt & Whitney PW127M engines powering its fleet of ATR 72-600 regional turboprops. Under the exclusive five-year agreement, StandardAero will provide Air Nostrum with PW127M hot section inspections (HSIs) and additional services from its OEM-authorized PW100 designated overhaul facilities (DOFs) in Gonesse, France, and Summerside, PE, Canada.

This partnership finalizes the opening of the repair station hub at CVG and expands Sunaero's North American network. Sunaero - Americas, as is a fuel-tank and fuel-system specialist, will provide on-site fuel-system repair services by bringing expertise and patented technologies.

Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings exterior systems are now qualified by international airplane manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. With a wide variety of topcoat products and systems now approved to the Pilatus PMS0600-52-01 standard, Pilatus gains multiple options for how it can process exterior colors and design schemes on its aircraft.

Barfield Inc., a subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) in the Americas, signs an agreement to become the exclusive distributor and warranty repair center for Falgayras’ wiper motors operated on the Airbus A220. The agreement supports product in the Americas.

Baker Aviation, a full-service aircraft maintenance, management and charter company, is now located in a new 66,000-square-foot facility at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW). The Baker business moved into the spacious two-hangar facility last year as it outgrew the previous Fort Worth location. In addition, Harry Mitchel has been named vice president of Operations to facilitate future plans for growth and success of the company.
