Flying Colours (NBAA Booth #1735), a maintenance, repair, overhaul and completions business, announces it is adding more than 140,000 square feet to its North American footprint as it continues its ambitious expansion and embarks on its largest infrastructure growth to date.

The business jet industry expects to experience strong growth in the short to medium term, supported by several new airplane models coming to market and an improved used-aircraft environment, according to Honeywell’s (NYSE: HON) 27th annual Global Business Aviation Outlook. The latest release forecasts up to 7,700 new business-jet deliveries worth $251 billion from 2019 to 2028, up 1 to 2 percentage points from the 2017 10-year forecast.

StandardAero completes two major industry milestones, just in time to celebrate at the 2018 NBAA-BACE event held this year at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. The company announces the completion of its 20,000th TFE731-turbofan-engine scheduled-maintenance event on October 2.

StandardAero, the world’s largest independent Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A designated overhaul facility (DOF) with distribution rights, inducts the first five PT6A-68 engines at its Summerside facility on Prince Edward Island, Canada.

StandardAero signs a new, TFE731 turbofan-engine MRO-services partnership agreement with Aerocare Aviation Services Ltd. to support business aviation operators on the European continent. The partnership, which was inked at the 2018 NBAA-BACE event in Orlando, will strengthen the company’s already strong presence as the only TFE731 OEM-authorized heavy/overhaul maintenance provider in EMEAI.
