Quiet Technology Aerospace (QTA) earns FAA/EASA approval for an inexpensive repair solution to a corrosion problem plaguing operators of several mid-size jets using Honeywell HTF7000 engines. The problem is a significant and recurring corrosion on the thrust reverser (TR) doors. Aircraft operating the HTF 7000 engines include: Challenger 300/350, Gulfstream G280, Embraer Legacy 450/500 (now Praetor 500/600) and the Citation Longitude.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corp. announces it will expand and renovate its Appleton, WI, facility’s completions operations, further enhancing the creation and installation of award-winning Gulfstream aircraft interiors. The expansion will ultimately create more than 200 new jobs.

West Star Aviation announces it has been awarded the FAA Diamond Award of Excellence for completing specialized training pertaining to aviation maintenance, safety, and FAA rules at its Perryville, MO (PCD) facility. This is the second year in a row that this location has been awarded the prestigious award.
