AAR (NYSE: AIR) announces it will be extending its PW2000 engine support contract with MTU Maintenance for another five years. AAR will supply PW2000 parts to support MTU, one of the largest engine-overhaul providers in the world.

Barfield, an Air France KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) subsidiary in the Americas, enters into a long-term maintenance agreement with AerFin Limited to cover the repair of regional and single-aisle commercial-aircraft components.

AFI KLM E&M and WestJet ink a letter of intent to sign a contract for maintenance and support for the GEnx engines equipping the Canadian carrier's fleet of 10 Boeing 787-9s. AFI KLM E&M will monitor WestJet's GEnx fleet using its PROGNOS for ENGINE data-analysis and predictive-maintenance system. This is the first major contract between the two groups.
