Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) announces that the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) approvals for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR, worked closely with Gogo to obtain the STC modification, which is now available for installation from Dassault Falcon Jet and its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network.

Textron Aviation announces it is now offering a gravel kit for its new twin-engine, large-utility Cessna SkyCourier turboprop. The kit gives customers the flexibility to operate their aircraft in and out of unimproved runways around the world. First deliveries of the SkyCourier with the installed option will commence later this month.

Device Technologies, Inc. (DTi), designer and manufacturer of specialty wire protection, cable management and sealing solutions, announces it has applied for FAA Design Approval for a PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) for Spring-Fast® Wire Protection Grommets. Once approved, aerospace engineers and techs can take advantage of the superior M22529 grommet technology and replace old legacy MS21266 glued nylon grommets. This PMA will apply to three variants of Spring-Fast: M22529/1, M22529/2, and M22529/3.

StandardAero announces that it has acquired Western Jet Aviation, an independently owned business-jet maintenance company specializing in Gulfstream aircraft. The company is located at the Van Nuys, CA, airport, one of the busiest business-aviation airports in the world, with an additional facility located at the Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in Florida. Western Jet Aviation represents StandardAero’s 12th acquisition since 2015 and marks the first acquisition by StandardAero that focuses on airframe/non-engine work in recent history.
