Gogo (NASDAQ: GOGO) announces that the Gogo Galileo HDX terminal has received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) supplemental type certification (STC) approvals for the Dassault Falcon 2000 aircraft family. Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock, AR, worked closely with Gogo to obtain the STC modification, which is now available for installation from Dassault Falcon Jet and its Authorized Service Center (ASC) network.

Universal Avionics Opens Its Doors to Aid Workers for COVID-19 Face Mask and Shield Assembly

Universal Avionics is assisting the local Tucson community in protecting healthcare workers and first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company is currently providing the non-profit group, Hope Worldwide (Tucson Chapter), with assembly-line space at its Tucson headquarters to manufacture medical face masks and shields.

The National Air Transportation Association (NATA) and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) send a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, seeking additional guidance on the loan and grant provisions for air carriers, including certain general-aviation operators, enacted as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act).

In response to customers’ growing needs for Rolls-Royce engine support, Duncan Aviation adds a new tech position at its Lincoln, NE, headquarters. Robert Montano has been tapped as an Engine Tech rep, providing troubleshooting and technical support to Rolls-Royce engine customers and Duncan Aviation engine line-maintenance teams.
