Banyan Air Service, based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport, completes its first installation of a Gogo AVANCE L5 system on a Bombardier Challenger 300. The project involved the removal of the interior, installation of the L5 system, re-installation of the interior and the final touch-up paint. The project was completed in less than three weeks, without any discrepancies, and within the projected budget.

Duncan Aviation’s market research team runs numbers and finds that although the FAA’s deadline for upgrading business aviation aircraft to automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) is a mere 16 months away, 52% of the aircraft in the industry have yet to comply.
