The expansion, timed with Spirit Aeronautics’ 25th anniversary, reflects the company’s continued investment in advanced maintenance capabilities and OEM-level technical support for business-aviation operators.

On these dates, the FAA will host a series of online safety seminars targeted at aircraft maintenance technicians and other repair station personnel. Up to four hours of AMT & IA credit is available each day on maintenance subjects. The following subjects will be covered:

Duncan Aviation announces that its Fixed Based Operator (FBO) facilities in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo, MI, have received Stage I accreditation from the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH). Duncan Aviation’s other two main facilities in Lincoln, NE, and Provo, UT, had previously earned this accreditation.

The Av8 Group announces it has substantially expanded its primary overhaul shop and office headquarters in Houston, TX to accommodate its growing capabilities as part of an increased effort to deliver more value to its overhaul customers. The company added an additional 9,000 sq. ft. to their overhaul shop and office space, bringing its total footprint to 30,000 sq. ft.  

Elliott Aviation, a business aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul services provider, and Garmin’s leading retrofitter, announces it has delivered three Garmin G5000 equipped Citation Excel/XLS aircraft in the past month. Elliott Aviation is currently leading the industry with three delivered, and 15 scheduled Garmin G5000 installations for the Citation Excel/XLS.
