Our team members are motivated individuals that do remarkable things every day!Position Summary:AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Bayou La Batre, AL that is the leading boat builder specializing in push boats, both with azimuth thrusters and conventional shaft and propeller.A Pipe Welder is responsible for performing high-quality welds on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping systems. Work is performed using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) and other approved welding processes in accordance with industry standards.Essential Functions:

  • Perform pipe welding on stainless steel and copper-nickel piping systems.
  • Utilize GTAW/TIG welding and other applicable welding techniques.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and maintain professional working relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in shipbuilding or heavy industrial settings.
  • GTAW/TIG welding (stainless steel and copper-nickel required).
  • Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of safety practices and shipyard protocols.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.
